Well, there's not much to be said other than that we had a strong first 20 or so.. It fell apart from there but only because the game was called off when the ref came down with an injury.

Seriously though, despite a lot of drop outs and people playing their first games or out of position in the forwards, we really outplayed the Bankers. Playing to the pattern we've been learning in training really paid off. We also played to the opposition, upped the tempo and in defence lowered the number committed to rucks in order to guard the fringes.

May I also say how nice it is to see a decent crowd out. A few parents, our president and a couple of VPs showed up to join what was left of the 2nd team whose game was called off. Many thanks.

does that mean it was a walk over or is the game being re arranged?

wednesday and saturday from september to may is for rugby, unless you're going to swansea
